September 6, 2017 - Bright ruby color. Cedar and cherry with a pleasant green note. Not up to the last bottle but no slouch.
May 17, 2015 - Tasted double blind. Cedar, capsicum, coffee grounds, with tart cranberry fruit. Sleek, mature, and lovely, showing a touch of old Cali Cab minitiness. Wow, a nice surprise!

September 5, 2013 - Hart Davis Hart BYOB Dinner (Hinterland Gastropub, Milwaukee, WI): Green and yeasty nose. So clean and pleasingly balanced on the palate. Firm tannins emerged late, along with an almost candied, youthful sweetness that mingled very nicely with the lingering green note.

February 9, 2012 - Brown Bag Wine Dinner at Two Chefs - Double Blind; 2/7/2012-2/9/2012: - Aromas of eucalyptus, tobacco, blackberry, black currant and violet. It's in total harmony and has flavours of blackberry and black currant with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Pablo's Wine. Incredible 32 year old!!! CaliforniaCab. Has aged as well or better than it's Old World counterparts!
May 1, 2010 - Fantastic wine. Wonderful colour, big aromas in the glass. Tastes of leather, sigarbox and is still very much alive. Matches the top old Bordeaux wines. A friend visiting said this was a similar experience as a Margeaux 1970... (but I did not taste this, so takethis comment with a pinch of salt)
March 30, 1998 - ORANGE ON THE EDGE. BLACKBERRIES, LICORICE, TOBACCO, AND HERBACEOUS NOTES IN THE NOSE. DEEP BERRY FRUIT AND CURRENTS IN THE FLAVOR. MEDIUM TO LONG FINISH.
August 3, 1988 - Deep ruby red color, reddish brown on the edge. Concentrated fruit in the aroma with chocolate which carried over to the taste Good legs and long aftertaste.BAUM: 3.6/4.5/5.6/4.5=18.2 * 5 = 91
