October 24, 2018 - Tasty! Drank at a local restaurant after a brief decant. Essentially mature with dark ruby color and no sediment.
Obviously a cool climate expression of Bordeaux varietals due to lack of density and viscosity with a decidedly midweight feel.
Nose of prunes, plums, date and mocha.
Sweet spot currently but with 5-10 years fine drinking ahead. Decanting is rewarded so give this 1-3 hours if you can.

If a date, this was a 28 year old with varied passions and interests, but lacking life experience for meaningful conversation.

March 9, 2017 - My first Quarry and thoroughly enjoyable. Deep fruited, nice tannins, good length but perhaps lacking some complexity and maybe a little blocky if I am being picky. At 10 years of age it may even need a little more time to soften up.

December 29, 2015 - Had amazing bottles of this vintage at the old church restaurant and at Craggy range's Terrior restaraurant. Preferred to the 2013 sophia I had before dinner.

June 18, 2015 - Glad we have more in the cellar. Balanced tannins and fruit (a lot of both, big wine). Tight. Spice on the nose. Dark berries on palette and colour. Look forward to opening another in a year. Should have 5yrs or more to go.

February 24, 2015 - Wow. Aromatic, powerful, cabernet nose of powder (whiteboard marker), sweat, ripe plum and meat (salami). Fully textured deep and dark fruits, herbs, tobacco and minerals. Lingering long finish. A complex and seductive beauty.

Keep for 5-10 years, to let fruit balance.
