October 1, 2021 - Pop n pour, Dark inky core with garnet hue.
Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, red berries and hints of pepper. It Slowly evolves to show dark fruits, plum, earth and tobacco.
Soft dusty entry, medium bodied, exhibits black currant, blackcherry and earth. Simple wine but posses nice balance, not complex but drinking nicely. Long drying finish with sweet and soft chewy tannins.

March 23, 2016 - Nose of dark fruit-cherry and plum, touch of sage, more of the same on the palate, tasty with beef lasagna, rich but past it's prime, holding well but drink up, medium body, flavorful fruit makes it easy to pour and enjoy, touch simple, medium, long, flavorful finish.

March 15, 2014 - Very nice, but lost in a side by side tasting with the 2006 St. Michelle Ethos Cabernet Sauvignon.

March 10, 2013 - Same as prior tasting notes.. This was a really worthy quality pick up at this price point. But there was some bottle variation in these three bottles, and the corks were spongy...

February 3, 2013 - This bottle is singing! Dark red to purple in the center. Dark and very little light passing, but a jeweled shine to the surface. Loads of blackberry fruit from the nose to the palate. Some baking chocolate in the mid-palate to finish. Some secondary dried fruit components. This was worth saving for a few years, and was wonderful with Smoked ribs, and brisket.

February 3, 2013 - We liked it. Good dark crimson Red in the glass. Lots of Oak on the nose, tinted vanilla. Some dark berry and leather. Was steal at $19 a bottle close-out. Not sure I would have been happy at full price, but a well made bottle.
