December 1, 2009 - The color is a faded gold with a green tint to it. Like most chards it has a buttery baked apple aroma. It almost reminds me of a malt smell you would get from a real vanilla shake. On the pallet it is nice with a warm fruity flavor of apples and pineapple. It's not bad on it's own but I suspect it would pair much better with food. Probably best with something light or perhaps Asian foods.
