May 5, 2022 - I got 3 bottles at auction and this was my 2nd bottle. I didn't have any issues with the corks, unlike other reviewers. Overall this wine has been a revelation. With burgundy prices going through the roof where Roumier village costs USD 500 this was acquired at around USD75 and it is fully mature, drinking at peak. It would be difficult to find a better value than some of these wines in burgundy nowadays. If you can find it, buy it, you won't regret it.

February 12, 2021 - Clearly other tasters agree with the poor quality of corks used for this wine.
This bottle showed better. Decanted about one prior to serving.
Quite evolved and, at first appeared slightly over the hill. However, the wine evolving and improved in the decanter and in the glass.
The end result was a substantial wine with good structure, nice texture and good complexity. Very much typical of a Corton that delivers more than you expect and shows the ability to age.
    No hurry to drink.
