August 30, 2014 - Excellent expression of Rioja. Long and refined.
August 17, 2013 - Clear, deep ruby in colour. Clean, medium intensity nose with red and dark cherries, vanilla and smoke which appeared well developed. Medium plus tannins which after a while appear well integrated. Medium body with medium(+) acidity. Balanced medium alcohol. Medium(+) intensity palate with plenty of red and deal fruits, smoke oak and vanilla with some earthiness developing. Medium(+) length. Drinking very well now.
May 11, 2012 - For the money a lovely wine indeed. Not particularly traditional rioja but very smooth and the bottle doesn't last too long at all!
January 5, 2012 - Modern, fruity rioja. Lacks a bit of identity. Could be a modern wine from just about anywhere. Too young - let it rest 2-4 more years. Okey price - I paid 25 euro.

June 2, 2011 - Good – clear dark ruby appearance; fruit and smoky oakiness on nose; off-dry; mid acidity; tannic but softened quickly on air; mid to full body; mid length finish; fruity taste of dark berries; some smokiness; vanilla; overall a typical Riojan balance of fruit and oak but a bit tannic. Decanted 1 hour before drinking through a Vinturi. On the whole a good wine but nothing special.

February 18, 2010 - There is good depth to this wine, which has an assured quality about it, although the cliched Rioja flavours are all here in abundance - vanilla, oak, cherries etc. Not a great wine, but a good wine. This is quite a deep wine though that has a more masculine side to it with good tannic structure and acidity to allow further aging. Pretty decent, but nothing out of the ordinary.
