July 24, 2017 - Lett gyllen gul farge.

May 27, 2016 - Just lovely. White flowers on the nose. Good acidity. At once light yet concentrated. An excellent Chassagne that is drinking beautifully now.

October 11, 2015 - Nice. Lots of acid made this a great pairing for seafood. Plenty of richness as a counterpoint. First bottle I had a couple months ago was corked.

November 5, 2013 - Chassagne Montrachet's Premier Crus from Jean-Marc PIllot (Gordon's): The butter and cream notes are pronounced on the nose, plenty of fruit here. Like the '09, the interest on the nose doesn't carry through to the palate though it does have a welcoming and lush mouth feel.

October 11, 2013 - Another 375. This wine has really begun to strut. Medium+ body/intensity. Rich orchard fruits with a brown sugared edge, preserved lemon, brown spice notes, hints of rye, carroway. Somewhat lactic, but well structured with that wonderful '08 acid backbone. Excellent energy and length on a deep, delicious, mouth-smacking finish.

December 29, 2012 - From 375. Reticent nose of subtle spice, florals, and pith. A gentle, almost soft entry quickly expands to a tremendous weight and presence as full, ripe orchard fruits emerge and vie with a thick hash of vinousness, minerality, and lemony acids. A dense coating of extract settles on the palate as the finish echos.
