May 13, 2021 - M&PD Zoom Tasting night of following white Burgs and red Bordeaux:

    2013 François Raveneau Blanchot

2011 François Raveneau Valmur

2008 Vincent Dancer Chevalier-Montrachet

2000 Domaine Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles
    1990 Château Troplong Mondot

    1990 Château Montrose

    2009 Château Smith Haut Lafitte

This wine is spectacular. Dancer's wonderful reductive style gives it a gun-metal nose on top of mineral, exotic fruit and spearmint. I'm not sure where the spearmint ala Ramonet is coming from considering that Dancer is not using bentonite. Would love to hear from anyone who knows. All the flavors flow beautifully through the palate into a long finish.

    April 4, 2015 - Wonderful white burgundy.

Stunning length and clarity. Like the Perrieres, tending towards richness, but the balance is still correct
