January 10, 2018 - Golden in color, glistening shiny with thick glycerol oily, grapefruit caramel honeysuckle with very smooth viscosity and gorgeous mouth-feel. Delicious

August 3, 2017 - WCC Chassagne and Puligny Premier Crus Blind (Yono's Restaurant, Albany, NY): [This was supposed to be a 2003 Joseph Drouhin Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières. Not sure why this was brought instead.] Big crisp buttery nose. Full, rich, buttery and stony. Not very complex, but quite drinkable.

August 4, 2014 - The wine was medium yellow-golden in colour and offered dried apricot, ripe red apple, tangerine, biscuit and nutty notes as well as signs of bottle age on the nose. On the palate the wine showed apricot, red apple, ripe lemon, some hazelnut and first signs of bottle age, paired with medium-plus acidity and good length. The medium- to full-bodied wine improved with moderate aeration. A solid Meursault Villages!

August 12, 2012 - An excellent village-level wine. Honey, lemon and butter with some minerality on its medium-length. High-acidity for this level and age, medium-bodied. Good.

April 22, 2012 - Really nice wine with some surprising body to it - Had at Daniel pair with a light herb ravioli with Gorgonzola - the freshness of this dish really made the wine explode and was fantastic. The other dish it was paired with was a much more flavorful frog leg fricassee with asparagus and shallots - this dish was much much much heavier with a loads of flavor and much heavier - surprisingly the wine cut through and had enough oomph to really make itself at home. Really showed the versatility of the wine.

July 9, 2011 - Some light oak spice on the palate, and more weight or full bodied than I expected, still sharp with nice acid. Really liked this wine for the price point and would buy again.

August 16, 2010 - Joseph Drouhin '08 Burgundy Preview (Specialty Imports): Quite a bit more structure and richness than the other whites tasted today. Minerality is up front on nose and palate. Same toast level as the Mouches Blanc with fuller body and still balanced acidity. Same baked yellow apple thing going on with baking spices.
