December 31, 2018 - Golden color. Pear, quince, butterscotch and a touch of citrus on the palate. Well in its drinking window.

August 1, 2018 - Definitely showing a lot of new oak. Palate also has good fruit, good weight in the mouth, some floral notes. Enjoyable, but not profound. Quality Italian with Jim W., Joe D'A.

    July 5, 2018 - 🏅Rating 94/100 (4,4⭐)

    White Burgundy tasting

Intense color, liquid gold. Very classic P-M at its peak. Great example of 1er Cru with signature minerality and nerve. Depth and finesse.

That's exactly what mature Chardonnay should be.

Folatieres is quite big climat with great terroir and often referred to as the benchmark of P-M.

July 1, 2018 - Much better than the bottle I had in January. Clear yellow in color. White fruit on the nose. The palate is white flowers, melon, oak and peaches. The finish is mostly peach with a little oak to keep it in balance. Consumed over two nights.

May 18, 2018 - Golden yellow color. Full body. Pineapple, lemon, and butterscotch nose. Those flavors carry over to the palate along with quince, caramel, and vanilla. Balanced fruit to acidity, but the finish has a slight astringency. Well within its drinking window. Not sure if time will give this more upside.
