December 15, 2012 - EYE: Dark garnet - so dark that light doesn't project through the glass; NOSE: Ripe, dark fruit and spice - reminds me of cherry Luden's cough drops from my childhood; PALATE: bright berry flavors (raspberry, blackberry) but tannins and acidity were a bit high for my taste...perhaps they will lay down with more age.

April 20, 2012 - A nose of dark fruit and spice, dark purple in color. A full bodied and smooth Shiraz, with raspberries, blackberries, chocolate and spice on the finish, an enjoyable wine with a great label.

September 21, 2011 - nose: warm alcohol, dark berries, wet leaves and rocks
taste: light spice, soft berry flavors, medium bodied with big juicy boom
other: with parmesan, it tastes metallic
