February 21, 2016 - Mature and drink up. Very light wine for an 03 with chestnuts, tar and earth. Short to medium finish.

August 7, 2015 - Drinks like a good Cote du Rhone. Good dark fruit flavors (slightly roasted). Good balance. Nice length on the finish. Simple, but very pleasant.

August 19, 2014 - Opened by Allred before dinner. First time I have had anything from this producer. This seemed to be fading somewhat. Not as vibrant as i would like. Notes of currant, charcoal and black dirt. Medium bodied. 87-88 points.

August 16, 2014 - My last bottle and a significant improvement over the previous one. Aromas of roasted meat, red and black currants, pepper and bacon fat. I poured a glass for one of our visiting friends and her eyes opened wide when she smelled this- reminded me of Domino's first sips of Cote Rotie. Medium-bodied and fully-integrated at this point, featuring red fruit, pepper, plum and meat on the palate. 88-89 pts.
