January 1, 2013 - Medium lemon. Big oaky nose but not overdone and soon blows off. Citrus zest, ripe apple purity, slight cinnamon, later honeydew melons and even later a slight herbal edge and rocky minerality. Full fruity body, more butter on palate than nose, apple richness & even apple pie balanced by medium acidity. Citrusy mid-palate with a nice finish. The 14% abv is hardly noticeable.

December 19, 2012 - Rich gold colour. Golden delicious apple, pineapple, and lemon drops on the nose. Slight toastiness hints at subtle oak aging. Medium to full-bodied with good oak integration and bracing acidity. Very good wine to pair with food. A bit of a burn on the finish from the 14% alcohol.

October 11, 2010 - Consistent to previous tasting. Held very nicely for more than 24 hours in the bottle, although less than 1/3 of the volume.

October 1, 2010 - Medium yellow with green hues. Explosive buttery nose with intense toast, biscuits, peach, spice and minerality. Full-bodied and rich with intense toastiness, rich fruit, high acidity and a long finish. Reminiscent of the best Pouilly Fuisses I have tasted.

September 29, 2010 - Clear light gold with green edges. Clean nose of medium intensity. Lovely vanilla, buttery and toasty nose, with ripe apples and tropical fruit. There's a creamy edge followed by mineral and petrol notes developing. Dry palate, medium body and medium acidity. Mouth coating. Lovely briny and citrusy acidity, lovely butter on the palate too. Concentrated fruit, balanced nose and palate. Despite 14% no heat detectable. Very good with great length. Lovely well made oaked chardonnay, none of the "oak monster" as Mr Vaynerchuck would say more like Santana's Put Your Lights On "there's a monster living under my bed, whispering in my ear"...

June 23, 2010 - Not my favorite style of chard, leaing more toward the honeyed/hint of botrytis ripe end of the spectrum. Reminds me more of a Macon white burgundy almost. I prefer a more tart lemony crispness, but still well made and not dissimilar to 88-90 rated Macons.

March 9, 2010 - Toasty with notes of melon. I really like the differences the wild yeast bring out. (Had just a taste at a tasting)

October 18, 2009 - Chardonnay beurré, aux arômes de banane, de poire et d'abricot. Une certaine acidité vient donner de la fraîcheur à ce vin riche.
