February 17, 2024 - Excellent wine. My last bottle, unfortunately. Drinking beautifully right now.

September 22, 2023 - Semillon Lunch (Grappa Leichhardt): Belying its time in the bottle it remains fresh as a daisy with aromas and flavours firmly in the citrus spectrum. There’s some grassy notes and a light toasty complexity beginning to emerge. The acidity remains fresh and drives the long finish. An exceptional wine with an almost limitless future

July 19, 2023 - Supper at Fred's (Freds, Oxford Street, Sydney): From Coravin. Lime, lime leaf over green apple, slight butter on the nose. In the mouth it has quite sharp citric acid notes, flavours again showing lime but more grassy backed by green apple, that butter note is here as well with a little honeyed note. Very nice though a little too complex to match to Kingfish crudo.

April 14, 2023 - Tasted almost off dry. Not in the most obvious Semillon obvious phase. Notes of petrol, Green apples and lemon. Green hue. A long life ahead

February 3, 2023 - Damn, these wines are so good! Light as a feather, full of flavour (preserved lemon, lime zest and buttered toast), elegant, stylish, precise and compelling. Superb with sea bream, too.

November 12, 2022 - A monster tasting at Laszlo's: Blind. Fresh nose with lemon, apricot, florals and a little toasty note the only sign of age. Palate is a little bit rounder with the fruit quite pillowy but with good depth and length. Getting into a pretty good spot for drinking but no hurry either.

October 11, 2022 - Tried for assessment - gross infanticide! Core tautness that needs time to develop and open up. No hint of ageing.
    Hold till 2025 (at least).

July 17, 2022 - Not showing that well today. Frankly it was rather withdrawn. Delicate notes of hay, lime and so on but frankly paling when paired with raw oysters. All the characteristics observed last time were there but frankly it was a bit of a wallflower it terms of intensity. Come back in 10 years perhaps.

March 13, 2022 - Medium lemon with a greenish hue. Delicate aromas of hay, honey, toast, smoke, with some citrus in the background. On the palate, there is tingly acidity, medium alcohol (11.5%), and excellent persistence. Very high quality example of how Semillon can evolve with time. Drinking very well right now.
