September 8, 2023 - Beautiful nose, fully opened and silky resolved tannins. This is drinking at its apogee. With more air this demonstrated so many layers of complexity. Just a stunning wine and made more amazing when crafted in a poor vintage.

Pure, Crystalline, Feminine
Cool Red Berry
Rose Petals, Floral
Oriental Spices, Licorice, Coffee Bean
Stem like Fresh Mint
Humus, Sous-Bois, Game
Silky Texture
Dense without Heaviness
Smooth Tannin in finish
and LONG finish
It's not as good as the latest vintage of Domaine Leroy,
but it's Great in itself. -

March 30, 2018 - Served blind: boom wow, soapy sexy classic Vosne spice, ripe fruit but not too ripe, hoisin, guessed Leroy. Best Vosne 1er so far today, by a lot.

April 10, 2015 - Deep cherry colour. Beautiful nose of black fruits, blueberry, allspice and earth. Palate mid-weight and quite intense with great length and poise. The depth and poise belies the year. A beautiful Easter wine !

January 28, 2013 - I'm really enjoying the top wines from this underrated vintage. Typically expressive leroy nose. Spice, cranberry, pomegranate, and raspberry. Medium in body and length, but just delicious right now.
