April 14, 2020 - clearly can´t hide its age, actually looks way older than it is. meaty with soft tannins, still decently long, even some acidity. Blackberry with a good grip. I directly purchased the bottle at the winery, so it has been stored perfectly.

Fading brick red and very orange at rim. Quite earthy at first, but lacked fruit. Supple on the palate without the complexity or power you'd hope for. -

November 23, 2019 - Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco): At the Borgogno tasting room from coravin pour. I did not care for this at all - it had the quality of stewed fruit, and just tasted medicinal and nasty. If this is indicative of the hot vintage - will be sure to avoid in future.
