May 28, 2023 - Served blinded after the tasting. (No score)
    Guessed Barolo/Barbaresco mid-segment ca 2008.
    Light red with some bricking.
Discreet nose with youthful Nebbiolo umpa-umpa.
Fills your mouth without being plump. Allows for its beautiful mineral aspects to shine through its open windows.
    BRAVO!

    June 18, 2021 - Très joli vin.
On sent un millésime mûr mais aucun excès qu'on aurait pu craindre sur 2003.
    A point et excellent.

May 23, 2021 - Agree with previous comment - feels older than it is. I love the very old vintages, but somehow not this one. Perhaps too warm year, which makes it less balanced.

July 8, 2020 - All Barolo. All soy, fungi and distant red fruit. A delight. Drink now.

May 8, 2020 - If this was ever good, it isn’t now, medicinal and imbalanced.

April 14, 2020 - clearly can´t hide its age, actually looks way older than it is. meaty with soft tannins, still decently long, even some acidity. Blackberry with a good grip. I directly purchased the bottle at the winery, so it has been stored perfectly.

December 14, 2019 - On its very last legs...

Fading brick red and very orange at rim. Quite earthy at first, but lacked fruit. Supple on the palate without the complexity or power you'd hope for.

November 23, 2019 - Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco): At the Borgogno tasting room from coravin pour. I did not care for this at all - it had the quality of stewed fruit, and just tasted medicinal and nasty. If this is indicative of the hot vintage - will be sure to avoid in future.

November 23, 2019 - Piedmont II - better and learnings; 11/23/2019-11/29/2019 (Barolo, Alba, others): I don't understand how this can have one of the best scores of the Riservas. Of the tasting it was my least favorite wine and I'm not 100% sure that across 4 of us we actually even finished the glass. I guess a very hot year which can be ok except it's breaking down. Lower acid. Dried leaves, smells like a barnyard, it tastes slightly better than the nose, but not by that much. It wasn't for me.

November 8, 2019 - A good wine drinking well now, if a little unspectacular. The consensus was that this would probably go really well with beef stew/lamb shank. 91+
