October 22, 2023 - Wondering if this is the same wine as other reviewers. Fantastic tertiary aromas of walnut, mahogany, leather, black pepper, star anise. The palate is velvety. The fruit is weak but not gone, offering some dried strawberry and black cherry after an hour of air with some latte flavors on the finish. My main complaint is that the cork crumbled since I didn't have the proper tools to extract it intact. Enchanting.
