November 18, 2010 - Medium red. Very primary nose of lilac powder, red currants, white pepper. Medium hard tannin, with sharp acids noticeable. Quite densely fruited on the palate, plaum and red currants with herbal notes. Somehow it compensates enough, a country style wine. Bottle # 5 of six.
September 25, 2010 - High tannins, good fruit.
November 23, 2008 - Mmmmm....cooked, burnt, blackened...no bueno por nada.
October 9, 2008 - Once again volitile acidity resulted in this one being poured down the drain
January 24, 2008 - Nose of blackberries and earth. On the palate, light to medium bodied with blackberries, sour cherries and a shrill acidity, with a rather short finish. While the wine did put on some weight with time after being opened (maybe two hours), the acidity left it unbalanced. By hour three, it was pretty well oxidized. Not sure where it is going, but I no longer hold out much hope for it.
October 4, 2007 - Acidity. Very little fruit.
August 31, 2007 - Fruit up front but unpleasant medicinal finish. Poured it down the drain.
