Community Tasting Notes 102

November 25, 2021 - Very solid- neither declining nor improving from last note. Excellent fruit, acid, tannin, richness, aromatic qualities & paired very nicely with roast duck.

October 24, 2021 - Has held up to time. No reason to wait . Drink now. Good representation of Oregon Pinot. Has aged well.

June 20, 2020 - Good fruit density... dried blue & strawberries, vine, earth. Intriguing nose. Good acidic focus, but not shrill. Delicious now. Less overt. No real reason to wait on this vintage any more.

  • Dberlijn Likes this wine: 92 points

February 8, 2020 - Drank after an Anne Gros Saint-VĂ©ran. So good comparisson with Burgundian refinement. This is no Burgundy pinot, but wow! Still dark in color, no sign of aging. Aroma of refined red fruit with a solid core of finely structured wood and tertiary aroma and flavors starting to take the lead. This is in a lovely stage right now. Full bodied but refined. Excellent.

April 9, 2016 - Leaner red/blue fruits compared to 06 Siduri Pisoni drunk same nite, subtle earthiness, reasonable structure. Suggest drinking within 2-3 years, if well stored.
