October 19, 2020 - Surprise of the year. Packing up the cellar for a move. Set this and a dozen other bottles aside to open “just in case”. Damn good decision. Great aroma. Good color. Pure cherry. Not many years left if any but this has me intending to purchase more from a winery I hadn’t thought about in a long time.

May 18, 2011 - Agree with other reviewer- had dill pickle flavour. Unlike other reviewer, I don't like a dill pickle wine. Nose smelled musty

December 25, 2010 - SS #2 wine from pbm; 2 hr. decant. Ruby with majenta rim. Prominent floral nose. Raspberry,blackberry/cherry, medium bodied fruity with nice acid and tannin balance. It seems closer to a young OR Pinot Noir or Tuscan Sangiovese. It must be the Cab Franc showing, as it was very similar to a Torraine Cab Franc we had last night. A nice smooth, refreshing red in the old-world style. Still a bit young, and with more bottle age it should mellow into an even better wine. A pleasure to drink now, and it should get better with a more age. Thanks Peter. Day 2; Wow, beautiful nose with dill pickle elements, I love pickles. More air time has brought out the fruit and smoothed the acid and tannins. Really nice, even better with cheese and crackers. +1

November 6, 2010 - Decanted for about 2 hours-still pretty dry. Exceptional nose. Fruit forward with notes of black cherry followed by vanilla. Stiff tannins. Served with steak on the grill. Definitely needed food with it...

April 7, 2010 - Winery: Our flagship red wine is the perfect representation of the blockbuster 2007 vintage. Dark in color, rich, and extracted. Tons of black fruit character integrate with aromas of toast and a hint of spice. The palate carries the aromas against a strong backbone of tannin, slight oak, and mellow acidity. Complete malolactic fermentation and aged 16 months in French and American oak barrels. Age up to 10 years. 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Petit Verdot, 2% Merlot, 2% Malbec.
