June 25, 2012 - I like Stein but I have to agree with the dilute watery comment...had some fruit but not enough backbone.

    August 14, 2011 - Corked!

July 4, 2010 - This was not enjoyable. Loads of minerals, little fruit. I would never have guessed it was Riesling. It was watery as Keith says below.

April 28, 2010 - This wine has a lovely minerality..

October 12, 2009 - Very watery and dilute on the first impression, tasting like it had literally been watered down -- not just the flavor was thin, but the structural elements were meek, too. Gradually it gained more precision but didn't develop much more flavor or impact. It almost tastes more like a Muscadet than riesling to me, and I might have enjoyed it more if I'd opened it with oysters than with the Thai food we had, but it's definitely not the profile I'm looking for when I open a riesling, even a kabinett trocken.
