  December 8, 2019 - Dark plum/black cherry color, showing its age but hanging onto purple over oxidation
  Plum, leather, and forrest floor on the nose, canned tomato skin element with a little iodine in the back
  Shocking how long the finish is (actually how long the mid-palate is) wave after wave of black neck wafers that both coates the tongue and leaves the sides and underside of the tongue watering for over 8 minutes - CRAZY! The front part of the palate is largely gone but the wine is insanely energetic on the mid-palate.

  November 28, 2016 - Amazing that this 20'year old sin blend could still impress. Though there was little nose to hint at what time had done, the wine was soft on the palate and quite enjoyable. That it was old there is no doubt . . . but it had not spoiled.

  April 5, 2013 - Bill's Monthly Lunch - April 2013 (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind – This was slightly corked. The TCA didn’t seem to kill the nose or the palate but it was there. Underneath was bright and ripe red fruit and mint. Seemed very cab-like.
