September 1, 2020 - From jeroboam. Cool nose with hints of spice and some greenness. A lighter weight palate for such a young wine. Put on weight and depth with air time. Good acid and definition on the finish. Consumed over 3 hours.

Perfect bottle, tasted 4 times now ( plus barrel tasting at the Domaine in 2008) at that time the among in three with The Romanee and Petits Monts ( last one not sold on the market I believe) perfect to drink now and within 4-5 years, it remains very precise and extremly aromatic, just lovely, charming, deep fruit but the fruit remains very sweet and light (in a good way) damm good ! ! in my world simply the best vintage from Liger Belair since 2005.
Side remark, I like better the 06/07/08/09/10 rather than the younger vintages .. . from 2011 and up
    Drink 2020-2024

October 18, 2019 - Acker 2019/10 (Bouley): 1377/2433. Light smoke, lightly green with citrus-driven profile. Nice heat in the finish. Consistent with previous bottle. 94

August 31, 2019 - Some people might accuse me of overrating this wine but I do not mind. Had this in a line up of Mugnier Musigny 09, DRC Tache 96 and Comte LB Reignots 09. To me this was the wine that stole my heart that night and although I score the Tache a notch above to me this Reignots 07 provided the most pleasure. Decanted and served immediately this was just singing from the first minute. The nose offers a beautiful intensity of spice and rose pedals and some red fruit. The palate is lush, balanced, vibrant. At 12.5 degrees alcohol it is a very light footed wine and the drinkability of this is as high as any wine I have ever had! Ergo we shared a bottle between two in around 45 minutes. There was just no way you wouldn’t have another sip within a few minutes / moments of the last. It might not be the most complex wine but to me one of the most pleasurable and hedonistic ones which no doubt is in its sweet spot. Wow! I actually am almost tempted to score this even higher. Hats of Louis Michel and thank you for bottling such elixir. This to me was sex in a glass and to me what Burgundy is all about. 97+! Bottle 1646/2433.

April 27, 2019 - White spice on the nose, very aromatic and showy, reminded me of 01’ La Tache. Distinctly less ripe and sweet in comparison to the 02’ which I appreciated, and with a touch of funk that blew off later. While it shows bit of sweetness on the palate, it’s slightly more savory, with the white spice repeating, and picking up some florals together with its dark red fruit. Medium weight and with sky high drinkability through the mid. Has a lighter impact on its finish, but also sports a zen like balance and underlying strength. Showing most ready and in the zone out of the flight with the 02’, 12’, and 16’ being the others. Brilliant example of what a top class 07’ can do.
