March 19, 2024 - 07 for me is the Reignots to drink now (and has been for the last few years) as it's just so open and in the zone. This bottle was on first pour a bit of a let down as it showed oxidative notes which i have never had in this wine (had some 05 and 06s that had some oxidation issues before). The good news here was though that as the evening went on it actually seemed to improve and funnily this was consumed fully ahead of the 2012 we had side by side. If I were to score this bottle it was probably around 92 (when it started) - 95 (when it finished) mark.

January 23, 2024 - Consistent with prior notes this is consistently a super effort and continues to cruise at high altitudes for my palate. Drink now - 2040.

May 28, 2023 - From magnum. Distinctive style of the Estate comes through on the nose. Cool and elegant palate, although shows the vintage on the finish as it thins.

April 28, 2023 - The aroma is so heavenly, the epitome of Vosne spice and so beguiling I almost didn't need to taste the wine. Jump up and down kind of aromatics. The palate was absolutely lovely, but it wasn't quite at the level of the aroma. Today Petit Monts had the better palate, and Reignots the better aroma. What a side by side!

January 1, 2023 - Drank over 2 days. Light and airy nose of red and blue fruit. Just a hint of spice. Same on the palate— a much more restrained version of this wine. Held ip nicely on day two.

December 31, 2022 - Welcoming 2023 with Great Wine (State Street Manor - Chicago IL): Red cherries and berries with a mature, earthy spicebox. Nicely layered and complex with good enough weight for its 1er Cru level, but I'd consider this nearing the end of its peak drinking window.

February 4, 2022 - warm fruit just floats into the nose with a melange of baking spice and sweet stem . Abundant but well-integrated silky sexy sheets like texture *cue silk stockings intro* in its red fruit. Purity and finish really keep you sippin

December 6, 2021 - Consistently a stand-out wine. Here again, totally open on pnp. Visually cloudy, so much packed and stacked in here. Soaring cinnamon, baking spice, slightly sweet and tiniest hint of green freshness with works really well. Having had the 08 and 12 the same weekend they were all on top of each other qualitatively and the 07 with the 08 in such a gorgeous sweet spot that one just can't help but keep reaching for the next sniff and sip.
