May 11, 2019 - This was drinking extraordinarily well tonight with rich, penetrating dark fruit, brambly sous bois and bright vosne spice. The tannins on the long finish are still fairly firm, but not at all obtrusive.

November 30, 2018 - This bottle is abit reserved tonight, but still quite nice. Dense, with fairly rustic, masculine, dark red, earthy fruit, Asian spice and a longish finish. There's still some unresolved chalky tannns here, but all in all, quite nice.

January 14, 2018 - This bottle seems to be on a quicker evolutionary track than previous bottles, but it's still quite excellent tonight. There's excellent depth here with lots of earth and sous bois driving the dusky red fruit and while still a quite masculine wine, I think perhaps it's mouthfeel was abit more delicate than my last bottle. All in all, delicious.

November 14, 2017 - This was drinking beautifully tonight after about an hour in the decanter with lots of penetrating, earthy, dark red fruit, sous bois and Asian spice notes. There's good depth and a fair amount of minerality here with some leathery tannins on the long, peppery finish. Med to full bodied and quite delicious.

November 21, 2015 - This is drinking very well tonight with deep, rich dark red fruit, earth, sous bois, baking spice and a longish finish in a medium bodied format. Really delicious right now, but I think it has a long life ahead of it.
