August 11, 2017 - Very nice, delicious mineral nose with some citrus and hazelnut. Some floral and sweet herbs too.
I could smell this over and over all night. I love white burgundy...

Delicious palate of lemon confit, hazelnut, and that classic Chardonnay richness. Nice minerally structure on the finish, although perhaps a bit brief. Well balanced and fairly refined. Bottle age was perfect. I don't see any signs of this fading but will not improve.

May 25, 2015 - Nice citrus and acidity. Went very well with rotisserie grilled Cornish game hens.

April 29, 2015 - Fine, delicate, gentle lemon scent and good length.

March 5, 2015 - Decent W Burgundy -- seemed like a Chablis -- citrusy, not that round, but enjoyable. Might need some more time in the bottle.

(LES CHAMP PERDRIX Devevey) Burgundy Dear Friends, ...speaking of the Hautes Cotes... I apologize for the second offer today but I was just able to confirm this deal (after much prodding) and it’s a wine all of us will appreciate in a gustatory time of need. For , it makes an ever-growing contingent of Chardonnay from around the world appear to have little direction. Strong statement? Taste tonight’s offer and you can decide, especially if you enjoy 1er Chablis. Most of you know my affinity for the classic and terroir-drenched 2007s from the Cote d’Or (and Chablis) - this wine combines the best of both regions for a song (although it is from the Cote de Beaune). While now a rarity, when the climate cooperates, the Cote still provides the finest expression of the grape in the world and this wine speaks to that in spades. With a tactile, precise and nuanced palate aligned to a energetic level of pure sap (and only 12.5% alc – just about perfect) the 2007 vintage of Les Champs Perdrix reminds me of a cross between St. Aubin and Valmur. Whatever it is, it’s a darn complete wine that requires little further discourse at this tariff and it’s drinking beautifully right now: VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for a quality that reaffirms the environs of Beaune and their potential price/quality greatness. As a side note, no premox here – just acute freshness. This parcel is directly from the winery cellar with perfect provenance: 2007 Devevey “Les Champs Perdrix” (Hautes Cotes de Beaune) - (compare at $35-40) FIRST COME FIRST SERVED up to 24/person until we run out. ONE SHIPMENT ONLY at this price To order: niki@garagistewine.com This parcel is set to depart from Beaune – it will arrive in late April (please check OARS for local pick up after April 20th). It will ship during the Spring shipping season (weather permitting) or we will hold it for the fall season when it will be just as good (or even better) than it is today. My guess is that this wine will hit its peak around Nov/Dec 2011 and last for several years thereafter. Out of state orders will be held for free under ideal storage conditions (56 degrees/70%humidity) until shipping is possible. Locals may pick up at their leisure. For current local pick up and arrival/ship information, please see your OARS link below (at the bottom of this offer) - don’t know how to access your OARS? Simply click the link and see your account.
