May 5, 2010 - On closeout for $10, I figured, what the hey.
Screw cap appears to be new as of this vintage (or maybe 2006).
nose: a little dirty, but not much to the aroma
palate: dirty rhubarb to start. THe palate is light in weight and has a nice midpalate presence. THe finish kicks up a bit of alcohol (not too obvious, though) and finishes quite lemony. Faint, faint tannin, just a smidge of oak. This wine is light, almost unobtrusive except for the fairly strong acid. Certainly for $10, this was a good purchase, though it doesn't have a whole lot of interest to keep my buying at a higher price.
