September 10, 2022 - This was PnP, a sound bottle, and like all the 99s I’ve had in the past year, well integrated, a brick red sort of color, with some baked fruit notes, and not a lot of layers or savory things going on. For me, it’s a drink now or better yet, yesterday vintage on the left bank.

December 19, 2021 - Records not handy. Bought a 12b case, likely from Binny's or Sam's, 15+ years ago for less than 35/b; this is mid-case. Solid cork. Decanted with light sediment for its age. Dark purple; mature redcurrant nose, some graphite; mature red berry fruit, some fruitcake; very good mouthfeel; good persistence. Delicious, glad to have more. One of the more satisfying investments from years ago. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since arrival and then a basement locker. My evaluation (see earlier posts for my 4-category, non-point rating system): This is outstanding- when considering quality, age, and price.

March 7, 2021 - Mellow mature and soft. It is very nice but i am missing the extras. Elegant and silky though with a well balanced fruity finish.
