    July 2, 2011 - Independence Day Wines (Farpointe Cellar): Apple and butter on the nose, with floral notes and cake spice underneath. There also a nuttiness at the end. Less oaky on the palate, and much fruiter than the nose. The floral notes come on in the middle, and it finishes with a spicy nut flavor.

    May 3, 2011 - Refreshing with only a hint of oak and butter. Really nice and pleasant. A great diversion from the ordinary "over-oaked" chardonnay.

    June 13, 2010 - Golden color. Pear, honey and cut hay aroma. Lush rich pear flavor with honey and a little minerality. Crisp acidity and a long finish. Eminently ageworthy.
