  July 24, 2012 - This was the fourth of six magnums I purchased last year. Excellent, immediately drinkable with nice fruit and smooth, well integrated tannins. Still, lots of life left. Very enjoyable.

  March 5, 2012 - This was the second of six magnums purchased late last year. I didn't note the first bottle, however I recall it being the same as this one. Fragrant and very smooth right out of the bottle. Tannins are well integrated with lots of fruit remaining. Medium length finish. Enjoyable with and without food.

  December 31, 2009 - Had at neighbor Ron's house on New Years Eve. Absolutely fantastic wine that had been open and decanted for 2 hours. Soft and subtle, yet full of flavor. Sad to see others didn't rate this one so well, maybe she just wasn't quite ready at the time.

  August 1, 2008 - Tasted over the course of the evening and again the next day. Definitely not right with off-putting tastes. Most of it went down the drain.
