June 21, 2013 - Very disappointing - Never properly opened up and tasted pretty one dimensional!

May 4, 2013 - A wine that really showed the producer's skills - Despite being a 2007 it was rich and velvetty with a distinctive taste like cherry stones with a very long mutilayered finish.

November 3, 2010 - Martine's Wines with Martine Saunier (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Good combination of red and black fruit, good minerality makes this come across as more dense than reality. Big fruits to start, finishes with more subtlety.

November 3, 2010 - An Evening with Martine Saunier (Chicago, IL): Great red/black interplay. Really nice density for '07. Very fine tannins. Bold structure. Heady. Really nice.

4/30/2011 (link) 94 points(Domaine Perrot-Minot Chapelle-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes) Medium dark cherry red color with pale meniscus; graham cracker, tart red fruit, tart cranberry nose; tight, tasty, elegant, tart cherry, very pretty palate with integrating graham cracker oak; needs 2-3 years; long finish

10/27/2010 (link)(CHAPELLE CHAMBERTIN Perrot-Minot) UPDATE: California Shipping We will begin shipping to California the week of Nov 8th so please plan accordingly. Keep in mind, an adult is required to sign for your boxes. Please note: a number of automatically generated UPS emails indicate shipping to California is next week but that is not accurate – all packages to California, regardless of the UPS email you’ve received, will ship the week of November 8th. Thank you – enjoy your wine! - Garagiste ****************** Perrot-Minot Dear Friends, It’s no secret I'm a staunch supporter of 2007 red Burgundy – the high acid/low-fruit style of the vintage is a showcase for terroir and the minerality in the 2007s is the most transparent since 2001 (another terrific year). I'm sure many of you are scratching your heads right now (“what about 2002, 2005 and the upcoming 2009s?”) but the fact remains – Burgundy’s medium-weight vintages often produce the biggest wow – certainly from a delicacy and expression standpoint. When it comes down to it, what sets Burgundy apart from every other wine growing region in the world is the elusive combination of a low-alcohol, filigreed framework aligned with a pinpoint (often feminine and esoteric) display of a specific parcel of vines. 2007 has that in spades. As far as top 2007s are concerned, Christophe Perrot-Minot produces a much sought after group of shockingly expensive (and rare) examples that now rival any of the top-tier addresses in the Cote de Nuits. While these are not for the casual observer, they should prove to be a time-capsule of magic with another 10-15 years in the bottle: 2007 Domaine Perrot-Minot Chambertin Clos de Beze - (compare at $375-500+ in the US) (175 cases produced) 2007 Domaine Perrot-Minot Chapelle-Chambertin - (compare at $375-425+ in the US) (100 cases produced) To order: niki@garagistewine.com This parcel is set to arrive with perfect provenance in a few weeks or so (please check OARS for local pick up after November 15th). It will ship during the Fall shipping season. Out of state orders will be held for free under ideal storage conditions (56 degrees/70%humidity) until shipping is possible. Locals may pick up at their leisure. For current local pick up and arrival/ship information, please see your OARS link below (at the bottom of this offer) - don’t know how to access your OARS?
