March 11, 2017 - Excellent
May 25, 2016 - A bit past its prime. Much more earthy notes than the 2009 we opened after this bottle was done. A little "hot" and a lot of sediment in all 4 glasses poured. If I had realized I would have decanted through a mesh strainer. Dark red. Aromas of red fruit. Medium bodied, minimal tannins. Flavors of red cherries.
November 22, 2015 - Quite bland, soft, easy drinking and simple. Bad QPR.
November 6, 2012 - Good structure, tannins mild, one of the better CMS's I have tasted
October 2, 2012 - Intense dark color, at first quite alcoholic, after some time red dark Fruits. Easy drinking, uncomplicated wine.
June 12, 2012 - Very sharp when opened, mellowed considerably with air. Good nose, but somewhat bland and thin with astringency from the tannins but not much else.
May 6, 2012 - Great wine to drink at a tailgate. When everyone is plowed and doesn't know the difference, this wine works great.
March 12, 2012 - Very together
February 4, 2012 - Better on Day 2. Not much complexity but drinkable for the price.
December 22, 2011 - Super value. Burnt licorice cherry. Nice balance. Wild.
