Community Tasting Notes 1

December 29, 2009 - Opened just before drinking (the winemakers advise was to drink it 2008-2011). Fruity nose. Taste: above all pure fruit. Fine and cool like all the Tasmanian wines that I’ve tasted this far, which makes them attractive to me. In the finish harmonious and with certain depth, rather classy. With a bit cigar? Medium body. From three Australian wines from 30-35 Austr. dollars (with Penfold’s Bin 389 cabernet-shiraz and De Bortoli Yarra Valley cabernet) this one was most surprising to me.
