July 21, 2014 - Quite an open nose of ripe peach and caramel. Much bigger and more oak dominated than the previous bottle. The palate is rich and dense, packed with toffee and mealy, toasty oak notes. There’s a bit of tropical fruit and lemon coming through on the finish. Good but feels a little off-target compared to the last bottle.

May 20, 2014 - Quite a delicate nose with stone fruits and a nice floral aroma. Powerful entry with nice ripeness of fruit, dominated by a sweet pineapple character. Lovely poise with a good balance of sweet fruit and citrus acidity. A creaminess comes in at the end with a little wholemeal toast and oatmeal flavour. Excellent and a superb bin-end bargain.
