March 13, 2010 - Color: Pale greenish straw. Clear. Slight frizzante. Nose: Citrus! Also apricot, honeysuckle and white flowers. On the palate: Creamy, mouthfilling and surprisingly plush. This off-dry spåtlese really brings some interest. The initial attack is lemon + honey. The midpalate throws some balanced, refreshing acidity and lovely mosel slate-like minerality. The minerality really shines during the medium long finish. Lovely wine. Pairing with teriyaki chicken tonight. The RS is really working here to balance the acidity and vice-versa. BTW just 8.5 ABV.

December 16, 2009 - Medium lemon color, no legs. Medium nose of apple, pear, honey, mineral and beeswax. The palate is well balance with aggressive acidity that attacks the tongue. There is just a bit of residual sugar.
