February 20, 2017 - Wow, still really powerful at this age. Deep red in color with minimal bricking but an amazing amount of sediment. Nose has menthol and pepper with a explosive earthiness and a pop in the end of blackberry. Full mouthfeel with lots of black fruit and tar with well integrated tannins. A hint of limestone comes on late palate and tannins show up just in the end. The finish has a hint of cigar box and trails in a long rasiny finish. In a good place right now.
October 12, 2010 - BIG and BOLD. Lovely and true to the wonderful Malbec varietal. Mature, cocoa, deep rich blackberry.
September 12, 2010 - I love malbec and thought this aged nicely. Big flavor. Tasted of chocolate, smoke and light berry.
September 28, 2007 - Very distinct Malbec flavors. Good but not great. No Decanting.

April 12, 2007 - This wine was exceptional. It led soft black and blue fruit and earthier flavors on a trip through your mouth. It was just fantastic. Very expressive, medium-full bodied. This is in my top 5 domestic Malbec experiences ever.
July 2, 2005 - [Blue Smoke] Floral aromas with lavendar and red fruit. Very distinct notes indicative of Imagery Wines. With the BBQ developed more black pepper, smoke, and plum. Very enjoyable, but might not pair with the BBQ again. No decanting; Drink now. Looking forward to next bottle
