January 23, 2022 - I’m pleased with the results of having cellared this wine for 13 years. Based on recent reviews I was worried it would be past its prime but quite to the contrary. Filled with cherries, cassis and a touch of leather showing its age. Medium finish that grew longer over the course of the evening. Benefited from a 2–3 hour decant. I agree, it’s time to drink up, but properly cellared this wine has stood the test of time.

December 11, 2021 - Drinking perfectly, very slight brown edge, mocha, liqorice and earth on the nose and palette. Wish I had more of this!

September 9, 2021 - Has the red licorice and dark anise seed aromas and deeply concentrated aromas that are made come alive through the aromatic eucalyptus and mint fragrances.
A somewhat one dimensional dark and brooding powerhouse with huge fruit. Quite delicious and happifying yet lacks zest and nerve.
Still having its youthful mega fruit disguise the tannins, nerve and mineral components.
