December 19, 2014 - Smells fresh, asparagus and some oiled wood. Hints of barrels.
Nice, oily feeling in the mouth supported by the acid. Rich and long.
After about an hour with air, more salty minerals, stone fruit, powerful acid that almost unbalanced the wine a little. Clearly smell of canned pears.
Opens up alot with more time and develops the typical butter tones.
Also this wine received too little air and time to open properly.

December 14, 2014 - Golden straw color. A bit muted nose with asparagus, rhubarb, pineapple and a bit vegetal notes. After an hour strong notes of canned pear starts to emerge. Not as stellar as my last bottle. Palate is full and voluptious, initially a bit cold, but shows a strong acidic backbone on the verge of being overpowering. Still a very good wine.
