May 3, 2018 - During a Burg dinner. Surprisingly good with aromas of flowers, citrus, fresh and good mid mouth volume.

    October 22, 2016 - (Blind tasting)
Medium nose. Creamy with hint of butter. Yellow orchard fruit and honey. But also quite elegant in it's fatness. Ready.
Fullish palate with good balance. Good grip. Very fruity and full which carry the oak, the nuttiness and the butter. Rich but also a bit four-square. Tails off.
We guessed on Meursault and thoght that it stood comparison with 1er and GC in a positive way.

December 9, 2013 - A nice wine with potential upside still. Nose of baked pear, vanilla, marzipan, apricot, and hints of oak. The palate is rich and bright with fairly good balance. I think this will continue to get better for another few years, but is a nice wine with food now. For the price however, I'm not quite sure its worth it.

May 12, 2012 - Golden colour, powerful nose of red apple, nutmeg, lime. Beautiful attack with elegant yet very expressive cocktail of fruit and spices. Excellent length with vanishing profile of red and green apple leaving behind lasting traces of wood and nutmeg. Very nice !

November 16, 2011 - 2nd bottle and this is performed consistently good! Complex and expressive aromas with honey comb, red apple, lemon custard, mild herbs and mineral that added another layer of yellow floral scents. Compared to the VV that is still restraint at this age, the Brules is very open and exotic. Not highly complex but the quality here is really decent given the asking price. Creamy mouth feel, full of yellow fruits sweetness with a touch of honey and vanilla that offer good power and depth but well balance and focus. Compare to the bottle last year, the oak is well integrated here and hence this showing better harmony. Very pure and clean, with medium length finish that lingered with mineral aftertaste. I really enjoy this wine. 89-90+

December 7, 2010 - Classy aromas that is focus and precise, deep and quite expressive already. Powerful with oak, herb, mineral that is round and ripe accompany with perfume floral, honey comb. A small scale of Batard Montrachet! The round, intense palate show good class too, fresh, good depth and the oak kick in afterward to extend the overall flavor spectrum with long, complex finish that is very spicy with light bitter lemon peel aftertaste. This powerful, showy wine show good vibrancy and complexity. Very good. Buy - Maybe.

February 13, 2010 - I'm told there is heavier toast on the barrels here, but that's not immediately apparent to me on the very balanced nose; this is not as rich on the fruit as the Le Clos but the balance is better here. Very smooth and pleasing. 60-80 year old vines. 91-92
