April 20, 2015 - oh bummer, my last bottle....
November 9, 2013 - This vintage continues to drink beautifully and deliver. The fruit is forward, bright and distinctive. Rich mouthfeel, great color and pinot nose. Should continue to do age well but drinking nicely now as well.
September 6, 2013 - rich and full bodied pinot.
December 3, 2011 - Drinking beautifully. We had a dinner with 8 different Talisman wines from 2001-2008 - all excellent. It included a 2001 Kathy's Cuvee that was still outstanding, so this should age well too (if you can wait that long!)
November 13, 2011 - Quite rich - very much a California Pinot. Dark intense color but still has the ruby spark characteristic of pinot. We paired this with a duck leg pasta ragu and it worked very well, matching intensity.
July 12, 2010 - Delivers a balanced, poised Pinot initally on the palate. Dark Black Cherry, fruit forward. No surprises within the first hour, except that this was a very good, integrated, balanced fruit-forward pinot. Dark bing/black Cherry hits first, a strong backbone of acidity frames the fruit next. Tannins are soft and refined.Gains complexity after an hour. Becomes more integrated. the nose is much more complex. Slightly earthy quality. My suggestion would be to decant for one hour before serving between summer of 2010 and December of 2010. Drinkable now, but could cellar for the next few years easily.
