March 10, 2021 - Diam, 14% alc. Brilliant gold colour.

A rather rich and creamy cashew, peach, and smoky nose, with struck match, florals, and lemon.

Fans out on the palate with good depth, yet it still has a great grip to keep it together and pull to the long spicy finish.

Opinion: Cuddly, yet with bones. In a very good place now but will hold. Alas, my last bottle of this vintage.

March 2, 2021 - Drunk alongside the 2013 Bass Premium Chardonnay ( also 97 pts) this Bindi was in a superb place and drinking supremely. I have always been a fan of Bindi wines and the Quartz Chardonnay is exceptional. It also , like Giaconda and Leeuwin, does exceptionally well with 10+ years in the cellar. Despite it being under cork, there was no oxidation at all, it was as fresh as a daisy and filled the mouth with lovely rich ripe white stone fruits with a minerally undertone. lovely long finish with gentle tannin and acid all perfectly melded. will last another 4 or 5 years before a slow decline but why wait. if you have more drink it now its just superb. i do not think it has the stuffing and pedigree of Leeuwin or Giaconda but its damn close. Kudos Mr Dhillon.

April 20, 2016 - minerally spritz, fresh banana sherbet, grapefruit, almond paste and nectarine, oaky vanilla, nice balance, good

    Short note.
Reticent on nose, a gravelly peach and lemon chardonnay penetrating in its acidity and drive. Alcohol shows a little. The wine is quite unevolved. Needs more time.

August 14, 2013 - Meh! Way over priced even at $35.
