    February 9, 2020 - Color: brilliant reddish-brown
Nose: medium intensity; gobs of dried fruit; tobacco
Body/flavor: light to medium body; complex dark fruit; a bit earthy; quite well-balanced. wonderful mouth feel
    Aftertaste: lingering

Amazing bottle. Unlike other comments, was not over-the-hill.

March 2, 2015 - Lovely despite having peaked; be in no great hurry to consume but it's not getting better, just aging gracefully. I wouldn't wait much beyond 2020 and even then only if you enjoy the peculiarities of time.

January 21, 2013 - Red cherries, licorice and cinnamon. Just the right mixture of sweetness and bright acidity. Wonderful.

March 14, 2012 - This Zinfandel aged quite nicely. On the bouquet there are notes of licorice, rustic woods, and raisin. It has many layers and much depth. The palate is bold and complex, well-developed, with rich plum, dark cherry, pepper, and oak. The finish is somewhat light but lingers nicely leaving a taste of ripe fruits on your tongue. Excellent with a grilled porterhouse steak.

January 21, 2010 - Just didn't do it for me...Maybe it's past its prime, although Wine Enthusiast's 90 pt review said it s/b OK through 2011. Even after giving it time to breathe I was left wanting: A touch acidic (not at ALL what I normally pick-up in a Zin), very little nose and no perceptible fruit.
