October 2, 2021 - I’m generally not a fan of bubbles, but I’m trying to learn to appreciate them. We’ve had some really good bottles, but this was one recommended in our WSET class.
Strong nose of tamarind fresh when the bottle was open. It burned off after a few minutes. Still a taste of prunes or raisin, and the normal brioche and toast flavors from the oak. Also good acid and normal lemon and citrus notes.
Drank from a normal wine glass. The bubbles were a little flat, which I appreciated. Not a favorite - but it was enjoyable. -

November 27, 2009 - Brian’s: Grapey, grape gum--like a sparkling beaujolais; simple, not great stuff. BEGS for sausage.

April 22, 2009 - Winery: This is really fun! Grapes, gum, ecxcellent acidity and a funess that’s perfect w/sausage/cold cuts, ala beaujolais. Not fine, a bit chemical-factory taste to it, but good for what it is, a cool bottle.
