February 25, 2017 - Wines in Sea Bright with Pam and Justyna; 2/24/2017-2/25/2017 (Sea Bright, NJ): A very tasty wine. Notes of red fruit, cherry, raspberry, earth, flowers and a little spice. We had this with oak grilled salmon with some herbs and a slightly sweet sauce - which unfortunately didn't pair as well as with the salmon solo or with the roast herbal chicken andpork sausage with fennel of the other night.
Really quite a nice wine. I was surprised to see this was a limited edition wine, 50% aged in new French oak, and with a $55 retail price. (I bought it without looking it up). We paid $15 plus tax (including shipping); great qpr at this price.
This was our last bottle. Great, aged pinot noir.
Too bad this winery failed. A lovely wine. Drink now.

April 23, 2016 - A little syrup like but still very tasty. Another great auction buy.
November 27, 2014 - One of the more interesting pinots. Bright and sunny with plenty of fruit. Nice layers of complexity with the age.
July 24, 2014 - A beautiful well balanced Pinot. Great structure, lots of dark cherry fruit flavors. I think this wine is hitting its stride right now. Decanting or leaving open on the counter for an hour or two helps this wine really shine.
July 18, 2014 - Just what I was looking for in a Pinot. Delicious!
February 1, 2014 - Beautiful expression of a CA pinot. Drinking well with earthly nose and muted black fruit undertones.
January 4, 2014 - An excellent, well-made wine. Everything that I like in a Pinot. Structure. Complexity. Balance. Plus an ethereal quality-subtle and delicate A beautifully brilliant red moving gracefully away from the rim. Deep colored for a Pinot. A nose with complex notes of dark red cherry, clove and a high toned acid. Intoxicating. The taste is even better with dark cherry and clove (not mushroom and earth) Amazingly complex and balanced. A Velvety mouth feel, tart acidity and solid tannins. The finish goes on and on forever. A bit bitter at the end reduces the score of this wonderful wine. This wine could use three more years in the cellar.
June 29, 2013 - wine club 6/29: darker fruit, hints of cedar and clove with a kiss of vanilla.
June 17, 2013 - Strawberries and some woodland funk on the nose. On the palette, deliciously smooth, well balanced with red currants and slight hint cinnamon.
