October 1, 2012 - Aromas are of wine and grapes and vanilla. On the pallet the flavors are of syrupy sweet black and red fruit and spice and some vegetal flavors. The finish has a tough of dry tannins and sweet, somewhat syrupy fruit. Theyrupiness of the fruit brings down the score of an otherwise enjoyable wine.

A finish that holds on and evolves with fruit, spice, and light herbal notes. An elegant, beautifully done wine. 70% Cabernet (Weinbau, Stillwater Creek, Gamache vineyards); 20% Merlot (Stillwater Creek); 10% Malbec (Goose Ridge Vineyard). 14.7% alcohol. 192 cases produced.
