October 4, 2020 - Earthy, tobacco hints. Still some lively fruitiness. Tannins well balanced. Very enjoyable now.

December 25, 2019 - Popped & poured last nite. Pleasant but on the way out. Some black cherry fruit, earthy and barnyard on the nose. I get hints of chocolate or mocha too. Showing its age, but still enjoyable. Drink!

August 30, 2017 - from magnum. Great nose of Bordeaux notes - blend of Merlot (50%), CabSauv (30%) and Petit Verdot - although the palate falls a little bit short vis a vis the nose. Acidity is gone through the years but some interesting peculiar notes are still there and make this Cambon very pleasant. All in all a very pleasant Bordeaux which shows its age but leaves largely satisfied. With Ste, Ric and Giusma, well paired with a wonderful Picana and an unparalleled seasoned New York strip steak

October 23, 2016 - For the age and initial quality of this wine I'm impressesed with how well the wine has held up. Good to drink casually with food but most of the fruit has fallen out.

January 31, 2016 - Actually was very good for 1999 which was suppose to be out of the range to drink.
