September 13, 2015 - This one was worth waiting for. Lighten golden color belies its age. Huge nose of tropical fruits, lychees, brûleé, and spice. Silky rich palate matches the complex nose with a long mouth-coating finish. Big enough to stand up to charcoal grilled salmon and romesco sauce. Drink or hold, lots of life left.
February 12, 2014 - Tasty, buttery chard.
June 7, 2013 - I opened a 2nd bottle sooner than I had planned. Sandy seems to like this but not any more than some cheaper chardonnays.
April 17, 2013 - I bought 4 bottles of Keller de la Cruz from WTSO. I don't think my wife liked this as much as some other chards. Possibly because it's too oakey. I plan not to open an other bottle for at least a year to see if it improves. I won't buy again. Not worth $15 a bottle.
November 22, 2012 - Just a solid Chardonnay. At $20, can't beat it.
September 11, 2012 - Chalk and mineral balanced with nice ripe white and yellow fruit..Still has life left in it
July 25, 2012 - Very nice. Buttery with pear flavors and some apple in the background. Medium bodied with nice balance.
April 14, 2012 - Buttery, smooth. Not as crisp as the Oro de Plata but really great. A prime example of a great CA Chard.
February 27, 2012 - Golden straw in color, with light notes of melon and banana on the nose. The palate shows mixed flavors of ripe pear, honeysuckle, and honeydew melon that are rich and full bodied. Gains depth and nuance on the finish.
February 14, 2012 - just a wow bottle of chardonnay! and for the price...killer!
