July 8, 2012 - Plummy, almost pruney. Good balance, soft tannins. Nice

June 22, 2011 - Score was a compromise. One of us gave it a 89 or 90 the other a 87. High scorer loves zins while the more conservative found it too sweet and missing her beloved tannins. We both agreed it has a nice peppery flavor.

    May 1, 2011 - ---
    COLOR: Purple-garnet
NOTE: Pruney nose, probably a little past it's prime and not stored under ideal conditions. However, mouth was nice with a depth of blackberry jam & tobacco. Finish was a little bit hot but carried 30 seconds of black fruits. Went great with the food.

January 28, 2011 - Drink it; enjoy it. We drank it without food and we enjoyed every peppery sip.

October 4, 2010 - Blackberry and boysenberry jam on the nose with hint of rose petals. Very dark garnet in color. Big, jammy, chewy flavors of ripe red fruits, dust, and brambles with hint of eucalyptus and cedar. Another great one from Tobin James!
