September 18, 2017 - More crisp than typical Champagne. Smooth, citrus notes mixed in with pears and apples. Delightful summer sparkler. Great qpr.

February 19, 2017 - From Bern's wine list. Nice light palate cleanser to start the meal. Bright, light, clean and refreshing - not to complex but perfectly quaffable.

February 19, 2017 - Tampa Spring Break (the second); 2/17/2017-2/19/2017 (Various spots (homes, Mis en Place, Capital Grille)): This was purchased as our palette cleanser for the evening. A bit of light bubbles to open up the taste buds given we were on day 3 of many wine drinking marathons. Very easy wine, light bubbles, hints of sweet. Not extra complex or anything, but good for that light break between wines.

(NV Domaine Langlois-Château Crémant de Loire Brut) Very light yellow color with small bubbles; tart apple, straw nose; tasty, tart apple, mineral, straw palate; short-medium finish (60% Chenin Blanc, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Cabernet Franc; 18 mos. en tirage, 18 mos. in bottle)

(NV Langlois-Chateau Crémant de Loire Brut) Current release. A pale straw-coloured hue here, and a moderate size of bead, presented as a few sparse streams of bubbles. Rather yeasty on the nose, with lemony freshness, countered by a little hint of oiled wood and praline. Fresh and firm, lemony in style on the palate, with orange peel and nuts. There is a tingling undercurrent from the mousse, and a soft, creamy underbelly. This is delicious.

(NV Langlois-Chateau Crémant de Loire Brut) Current release, tasted at the domaine. Quite a pale hue. The nose has plenty of very clean fruit, with a somewhat steely edge. It is floral, fresh and delightfully acidic. It is uncomplicated but nevertheless very honest, nicely composed and refreshing. Overall, a good and well defined character that is very true to its origins.
